Waxy.org: Heat Vision and Jack Pilot
Waxy.org is making available the Heat Vision and Jack pilot that was passed over by Fox in 1999. It stars Jack Black as Jack Austin, an astronaut made super smart by solar radiation, and Owen Wilson as the voice of the motorcycl... eh, never mind. It's idiotic. I highly recommend it.

Steven Wright mentioning monkey's when referring to the girl in the begining is a positive deferance to the classic Buckaroo Banzai. There are many similarities of Heat Vision and Jack and the 8th Dimension.
