CMT.com: Seeking Vice President, CMT DUKES OF HAZZARD INSTITUTE
They are accepting applications for a real position as the CMT Dukes of Hazzard Institute vice president.
The job responsibilities are:
- watch The Dukes of Hazzard every weeknight on CMT;
- know the words to The Dukes of Hazzard theme song, "Good Ol' Boys," written and performed on the series by the legendary Waylon Jennings;
- serve as media expert on The Dukes of Hazzard for the CMT Dukes of Hazzard Institute: must be available for TV, radio and newspaper interviews to share passion for The Dukes of Hazzard on CMT;
- write the CMT Dukes of Hazzard Institute online blog for cmt.com;
- be passionate about The Dukes of Hazzard on CMT;
- make appearances at special events such as Dukesfest 2005 in Bristol, Tenn., (June 4-5, 2005).

I am really going to try to get this job. It is my duty to mankind that I get paid to watch the Dukes of Hazzard.

One of the best trivia questions I have ever come across is:
"What is the name of Roscoe P. Coltrane's dog from the Dukes of Hazzard?"
I would expect anyone even thinking of applying for this position to readily answer this.

Even I knew that, the irony of a barely-moving basset-hound named Flash is one of those things that sticks with you.
BTW, I tried watching some reruns of the Dukes, I'm having doubts that I'm cut out to watch it 10 times a week.

By the way, the P. in Rosco's name stands for Parvis.

Do you get kickbacks from James Best or what? BTW, him and the actor who played Boss Hog were brilliant, the only times I'm actually entertained watching the Dukes is when they're on screen.
