Chernobyl-damaged kids supposedly smarter, healthier

Boing Boing: Chernobyl-damaged kids supposedly smarter, healthier

This is apparently complete bunk, but it reminded me of an episode of Chris Elliot's Get a Life where Chris becomes super smart after living in toxic waste and starts dominating on the spelling bee circuit. From the transcribed script:

WOMAN IN CROWD -- He must have gotten his intelligence from toxic waste.
MAN IN CROWD -- That's the worst kind of cheating.
CROWD -- Kill him. Kill him.

I loved that show.

And I thought I was the only one who liked Get A Life. Cool.

Prince Paul and Dan the Automator got together and created a loosely themed collaboration about it called "Handsome Boy Modeling School". The name of the album was "...so how's your girl?"
Chris is on several of the tracks and Biz Markie sings the Bee Gees' "Night Fever".
Good stuff.

Prince Paul? I was a Stetsasonic fan from way back. I haven't heard that newer album yet, but on download.com's (extremely awesome) music area you can download an even newer, and great track from The Dix's new album entitled, "Here Comes The Dix". It's also got a great message at the end about energy and vitality- I mean the long-lasting kind.

Nathaniel Werriweather's (another alias) "Lovage: Music to Make Love to your Old Lady by" is pretty good too.
