Everybody keeps on talking about it
Nobody's getting it done
Thank you Martha

Wow you got a piano? That's a good start for a musician career.
I've played piano too for about 10 years, after which I felt overwhelmed by the amount of songs I had to remember in my head to play them. I still can't read notes in real time, neither do I think they express the music as it should be played, but rather present an abstract template which can be interpreted by individual musicians by their will.
I then bough a Yamaha SY-99, then a Yamaha Motif 7, and finally a Motif ES 7, so I could actually replay the songs I once mastered to play life.
I had also in mind to buy a Motif ES 8 with real piano weighted keys, but after a very long and extensive testing I decided that weighted keys are not suitable for the variaty of musical instruments on which I want to play and compose, so I rather decided to go for a more neutral key response, which the Motif ES 7 delivers to me.
You are at the blog of Damien Katz, who once stole the goatee from a billy goat. He kept it in a Skoal can on his nightstand for years. Then one day, it was gone. Vanished.
