David Byrne Loves Powerpoint

Did you know David Byrne loves Powerpoint? Here is one of the slides he made while deep in the creative process, I believe it's one of his early works. The man is truly a genius.

"in spite of the limitations of a given technology, they turn it around so that each defect becomes a positive quality."

That sounds like what is essentially the Innovator's Solution.

"I'd like for people to feel less timid about taking things into their own hands...The fact that I'm kind of jumping into this with complete freedom and disregard for any kind of rules or strictures is, I imagine, exactly what its makers were hoping."

I was reading about spreadsheets yesterday, and how Improv implemented a lot of innovative things well, but that Improv also put too much structure into the format of use by most people- which may have been why people didn't take to it, instead preferring the free-form structure, without so much categorization. (?) Maybe David Byrne might someday do artwork in Couch, or you could hire him as like the UI designer for it.
