Also the new CouchDb.com project website is live. Thanks to William Beh for his hard work getting it ready.
The new build has new features and better debugging and feedback that I haven't actually documented yet. It's a priority for tomorrow.

Congrats! I'll be playing with it as soon as I can get it running and working on my Linux/Unix servers.
As far as licensing is concerned, I'd recommend dual-licensing: free for private, non-commercial use, but a specialty license for commercial applications and uses requiring purchase.
I'm not sure how the MIT license would fit in with your current plan or that plan above, but I'm a very big fan of the MIT license. But, I think it's a little too free for what you want.
