Twitter Feed

Because I keep hearing good things about it, I've decided to try Twitter. But I'm only half-in, I'm not interested in following other peoples feeds, I don't need more distractions. I'm currently in coding mode, and this might be workable way to keep people up to date on progress without disturbing my flow too much.

I find that it helps to have a tool to twitter from where you exist online, like using their Jabber gateway, or using a irc bot. It makes it easier to shoot of quick updates when you are stepping away from code for a few minutes.

Hi Damien

You won't 'Get' Twitter until you use it 2 way, which means you are missing the value it really provides. But that's OK, often folks don't get twitter to start with, but at least you are paying attention to it as a possible value provider for others. I have started following you because I am interested in what you are doing, I hope at some point you will take the plunge more fully and follow a few of your followers and see the real value return yourself.

Regards from someone who is also exceptionally busy coding erlang among other things.

Hey man, sorry we didn't get to catch up more, but it was good to see you at Etech! :) Sorry for me intruding on your Twitter post, but it was handy in helping me find out that you're still on an old-ass version of Movable Type. Because the _1 bug that you were finding was fixed a long time ago, dude! Lemme know if we can help you upgrade -- MT4's free and open source and you won't need to change any of your templates or nothin'.
