XML in CouchDB
CouchDB, XML, and E4XWhich means that, all of the sudden, and without any changes to the core, CouchDB is pretty well positioned for storing and querying XML data in addition to JSON.

This sounds really good. I don't understand the technicalities of it yet, but I think this would enable CouchDB to store raw ODF files and create a javascript view function that dives into the zip bundle to retrieve information such as the author, date etc from the manifest. Something that made ODF documents first class queriable entities would be really powerful.
