Do we get to vote on the animal? I vote for the meerkat because they have a large territory with many burrows (like redundant homes and bolt holes). However, any animal that maintains a few homes would work for my vote.

Funny stuff and even more amazing considering that I was looking for info on purchasing Vonage when I found you. It never ceases to amaze me how a blog with a specific comment (i.e. Vonage problems) digresses into everything else but that topic, still cool though.

By the way I'm a senior software engineer for the Oracle corporation and came into the biz 29 years ago this year and I felt compelled to comment on the whole array thread. Array's were created to simplify coding lookup tables for the programmer and that's all. All of the other constructs that were mentioned are equally valid i.e. linked lists and etc. but if you really think about it would you want to code all of that just to do what an array and an index lookup can do? Oh well just the musings of a madman Happy New Year!
